Annually, the third Saturday in March, Ridgely Christian Church hosts a turkey supper from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Congregational members donate all of the supplies and goods for this event, offering a time of fellowship for the surrounding community, full of local entertainment, food, and homemade pie. Proceeds from the meal go to support congregational projects, such as local/global missions, building upkeep, VBS, and AWANA.
The menu often includes turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green beans, coleslaw, cranberry sauce, rolls, desserts, and drinks. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 5 and younger. Please be on the lookout for our large signs posted at the corner of Hwy. B and E in Ridgely, MO, and the corner of Hwy. B and Z in Edgerton, MO. Flyers are often posted throughout the community in local newspapers, websites, and sent to 50+ local churches throughout Platte and Clay counties. |
